I’m Grateful for the opportunity to share an important conversation the other day.
I want to sincerely thank @news640 for the opportunity to speak on air about the growing reality many people in our community are facing and why compassion and fairness matter when it comes to necessity-based grocery theft.
These conversations aren’t always easy, but they’re important. Rising costs, food insecurity, and difficult choices are impacting real people every day, and I appreciate having the space to explain why thoughtful, proportionate responses within the justice system matter.
Thank you to alexpierson and production team for a respectful, engaging discussion and for giving attention to an issue that deserves it.
I’m encouraged by the dialogue this continues to spark and grateful for platforms that allow meaningful community issues to be discussed openly.
